Sample Rules of Association for British Columbia

In British Columbia, bylaws are called Rules of Association and are filed with the Memorandum of Association to incorporate a co-operative.

Rules of Association are provided in the Cooperative Association Act. Every new co-operative forming in BC can use these as a starting point and modify the standard set of rules to reflect their business and procedural preferences. Or you can download our Alternative Rules of Association from the link in the right column of this page.
