Big Co-operatives

Big co-operatives often look for opportunities to invest in the communities they serve through business advice, grants, or financing. Some of the notable programs include the Community Economic Development Funds from the Co-operators, the Community Spaces Program from the Co-operative Retailing System, and Community Investment programs from United Farmers of Alberta. Some of the many Credit Unions across western Canada also provide community grants, business advice, and commercial financing that is instrumental to building a new business. Check out the four credit union centrals to find a credit union near your community.
